Bodies Upon the Shore, Oct. 28th, 2017 2pm – Oliva Gallery, Chicago IL

“The multifaceted but faceless bodies, washed upon the shore, with each footprint, appearing and fading; this is where refugees begin yet another chapter of their exodus. Through working with the images and reflections upon immigrant stories, Chih-Hsien (Joan) moves the dynamic struggles and inquires of ever shifting displaced population realities of ‘Who am I?’ ‘Where am I going?’ and ‘How do I survive?'”
